How fresh are the rates?

Rates update once a day — plenty for travel. The date on the main screen is the honest age of what you're seeing; a small ✱ appears if you've been offline and the rates are older than today. This is a travel tool, not a trading terminal.

What do MARKET, CARD, and CASH mean?

Tap the ⓘ next to those buttons in the app for the full story. In short: MARKET is the interbank rate you see online (nobody sells it to you), CARD adds a typical credit-card margin, and CASH adds a typical exchange-counter margin. Both percentages are adjustable in Settings.

How does it know where I am without location permission?

Your phone updates its time zone when you travel; the app maps that to a country and its currency — entirely on your device. That's it. No location permission, no tracking.

Where is my history stored?

On your device, only. Clear it anytime from the History screen.
